Dubai Production City, still widely known by its former name IMPZ, is a free zone and mixed-use community established by TECOM Group, part of Dubai Holding. It was set up for media production businesses and has a sizeable residential side.

Properties are apartments in low-, mid- and high-rise buildings, from studios to family-sized units, in clusters such as Lakeside, The Crescent and Centrum. The community has supermarkets, clinics, nurseries, mosques and running and cycling tracks.

It tends to suit people working in media and production, or anyone wanting a practical apartment close to Dubai Sports City, Jumeirah Golf Estates and Jumeirah Village. Access is directly from Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road.
