The Springs is one of the original neighbourhoods of Emirates Living, the Emaar master development launched in 2003. It is split into numbered sub-communities, each with its own pool, park and lakeside paths.

Properties are townhouses and compact villas, each with a private garden. The mix makes it a common first step for households moving from an apartment to a house, and it tends to suit families who want a garden, walkable streets and neighbours close by.

The Springs Souk, with shops, cafés and a supermarket, serves the community. The Meadows and Emirates Hills are next door, and residents reach the rest of Dubai via Sheikh Zayed Road and Al Khail Road. Dubai Marina and Jumeirah Lake Towers are a short drive away, and several international schools are nearby.
