Arabian Ranches is a gated community developed by Emaar and launched in 2004. It sits beside Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road, with Al Qudra Road along its edge, and is divided into a number of smaller gated neighbourhoods with an Arabian architectural theme.

Properties are villas and townhouses, typically with private gardens, and some look over the fairways or the community lakes. The Arabian Ranches Golf Club has an 18-hole course, and the Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club is next door. A community centre covers everyday shopping, dining and a leisure club.

It tends to suit families who want a garden, a quieter setting and schools close by, as well as golfers and riders. Several international schools are inside or near the community, and Global Village is a short drive away.
