Al Safa is an established neighbourhood in western Dubai, made up of Al Safa 1 and Al Safa 2. It sits between Al Wasl Road and Sheikh Zayed Road, with Jumeirah to the north, Al Wasl to the east, Al Manara to the west and Al Quoz to the south. It grew without a single master developer.

Properties are mainly independent villas and compound villas, often with gardens, plus some townhouses and low-rise apartments. It tends to suit families who want a garden and quieter streets while staying close to Jumeirah's beaches and the business districts on Sheikh Zayed Road.

Safa Park lies next to Al Safa 1, and several international schools are close by. Interchanges on Sheikh Zayed Road give direct access north to Downtown Dubai and south towards Al Barsha, and Jumeirah Beach Road is a short drive away.
