Dubai Healthcare City, or DHCC, is a free zone for healthcare and medical education launched in 2002. Phase 1 in Oud Metha hosts hospitals, outpatient clinics, laboratories and Mohammed Bin Rashid University of Medicine and Health Sciences. Phase 2, in Al Jaddaf beside the creek and the Ras Al Khor Wildlife Sanctuary, is being developed with a focus on wellness, properties and hotels.

Properties are mainly apartments in mid- and high-rise buildings, concentrated in Phase 2, alongside hotel apartments. The area tends to suit medical professionals, students and hospital staff, and buyers who want to be close to the older city and the airport.

DHCC is served by Dubai Healthcare City station on the Green Line, with Oud Metha and Al Jaddaf stations either side. Oud Metha Road, Sheikh Rashid Road and Al Khail Road are close by.
