Living here

The World Trade Centre district grew up around Sheikh Rashid Tower, opened in 1979, and the exhibition and convention halls that now host events through the year. Dubai World Trade Centre owns and runs the campus, including the One Central quarter of offices, hotels and restaurants.

Residential options are mainly serviced and hotel apartments, such as The Apartments and Jumeirah Living World Trade Centre Residences, plus apartment towers along neighbouring Sheikh Zayed Road. The area tends to suit people who work in the Trade Centre or DIFC, those who travel for exhibitions and conferences, and anyone wanting a base close to the business district.

The district has its own World Trade Centre station on the Red Line and sits at the northern end of the Sheikh Zayed Road towers, next to Za'abeel and Al Satwa, with DIFC and Downtown Dubai a short distance south.
