Living here

DIFC, the Dubai International Financial Centre, is a financial free zone with its own legal framework and English-language common-law courts. Around The Gate building it has grown into a district of offices, hotels, galleries, restaurants and residential towers.

Properties are apartments and penthouses in high-rise towers such as Central Park Towers, Index Tower and DIFC Living, plus serviced residences in hotel buildings. A further residential phase, The Residences, is under development in the new DIFC Zabeel District next door. The area tends to suit people who work in finance, law and consulting and want to walk to the office, and buyers who want an apartment close to galleries and restaurants.

The district sits on Sheikh Zayed Road and is served by the Red Line at Emirates Towers and Financial Centre stations, with Downtown Dubai a short drive away.
