Living here
International City is a residential and commercial community developed by Nakheel in the Al Warsan area of east Dubai. Its low-rise buildings are grouped into ten clusters, each styled after a country, including England, China, France, Greece, Morocco, Persia, Russia, Spain, Italy and the Emirates, set around a central business district and a lake.
Properties are mainly studios and one-bedroom apartments, with some two-bedroom units. Later phases to the south add newer apartment buildings.
It tends to suit people wanting a practical base on the eastern side of the city, and those working in Dubai Silicon Oasis, Ras Al Khor or the Dragon Mart complex, which sits on its northern edge along Al Awir Road. Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road runs close by, and the Dubai Metro Blue Line now being built will have stations here.
