Living here
Al Warsan is a large district on the eastern edge of Dubai, divided into four sub-areas numbered one to four. Much of it is taken up by utilities, light industry and open land, while International City, developed by Nakheel, occupies a large part of the north.
Properties are concentrated around International City and in Warsan 4, where newer low and mid-rise apartment blocks by a range of developers sit south of the original clusters. Warsan Village adds a group of townhouses and apartments, and Warsan 3 is home to plant and pet markets.
It tends to suit people wanting a practical base on the eastern side of the city with straightforward road access. Al Awir Road runs along the north, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road are close by, and the planned Blue Line will serve International City.
