The Oasis is a villa masterplan by Emaar in the south of Dubailand, off Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and a short drive from Al Maktoum International Airport. It is under development and being released in phases. A large share of the land is set aside for lakes, canals, parks and jogging tracks.

Properties are detached villas and mansions, generally four to seven bedrooms, in collections such as Palmiera, Mirage, Lavita, Mareva, Address Villas Tierra and Palace Villas Ostra. Many plots face water. The community centre is planned around a swimmable lagoon, with a gym and wellness spaces, and there are parks and local mosques across the plan.

It suits buyers who want a large detached house with water views and room for a bigger household, and who are comfortable buying into a community that is still taking shape. Emaar's Grand Polo Club and Resort is next door.
