Living here
Barsha Heights is a compact tower district developed by TECOM Group, which also gave the area its old name. It was renamed in 2016, but many people still call it Tecom. Its streets mix residential towers, hotel apartments, offices, cafés and supermarkets.
Properties are apartments, from studios to larger family units, alongside a number of hotel apartment buildings. It tends to suit people working in Dubai Internet City, Dubai Media City, Dubai Knowledge Park or Al Barsha who want to live within walking distance of the metro.
The district is bounded by Sheikh Zayed Road, Hessa Street and First Al Khail Street, with The Greens and Al Barsha alongside. Dubai Internet City station on the Red Line sits on its Sheikh Zayed Road edge, and Mall of the Emirates and Dubai Marina are a short drive away.
