DAMAC Hills 2, formerly known as Akoya or Akoya Oxygen, is a master community by DAMAC in the south of Dubailand. It has direct access to Al Qudra Road, which leads towards Arabian Ranches, Sheikh Mohammed Bin Zayed Road and Emirates Road. It sits further from the city than DAMAC Hills, on the edge of the desert.
Properties are largely villas and townhouses, many in compact clusters, alongside apartment and hotel apartment buildings. Amenities follow a water and sport theme: Malibu Bay, a wave pool with a beach setting, a lazy river, a floating cinema, a Zen garden, sports fields and landscaped parks, plus shops and restaurants.
It suits families wanting a first villa or townhouse with outdoor space, and people who prefer a quieter, self-contained community and are happy to drive for errands.
