Dubai Islands is a group of five reclaimed islands off the Deira coast, developed by Nakheel. The project was first launched as Palm Deira, renamed Deira Islands in 2013 and given its current name in 2022.
The islands are planned for apartments, townhouses, villas and resort hotels, with public beaches, parks, golf and the Souk Al Marfa market. Several beach hotels already operate, and residential projects are being built in phases.
It suits buyers looking at off-plan properties by the sea while staying close to Deira, the old Creek districts and Dubai International Airport. A road bridge links the islands to the Deira mainland, and Gold Souq station on the Green Line is a short drive away.
Figures from the Dubai Land Department and public reports as of 25 September 2026. Not financial or immigration advice.
